Acting on the advice of their lawyers the McCanns flee Portugal as arguidos one day before Portuguese police announce plans to have them re-interrogated and for the evidence to be sent to the Attorney General.

SEPT 6TH
- Police file report that the McCanns reacted very negatively when informed of the intent to use cadaver dogs.

- Police file report which concludes that there was no abduction, Madeleine died in apartment 5a, the McCanns were involved in the occultation of her body, the evidence should be sent to the Attorney general and there should be new interrogation of the McCanns.
