Trump attends NYC hearing remotely, trial date set for March 2024

Donald Trump virtually attended a Manhattan court hearing on Tuesday for a criminal case against the former president. Judge Juan Merchan set a trial date for March 25, 2024 and explained the terms of the protective order to Trump. Last month, Trump pled not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
