The battalion surrendered after a quick combat firefight against Russian Armed Forces.

RAFF hit the Ukrainian army in the Krasny Liman area over with up to 90 Ukrainian servicemen, four armored fighting vehicles and two D-30 howitzers were destroyed.

Some of these soldiers were unable to retreat and were forced to surrender due to heavy Russian offensive fire.
