Transportation Sec. Buttigieg addresses nationwide air traffic control shortage

At a press conference in Washington on Tuesday, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg announced that the Federal Aviation Administration wants to hire more air traffic controllers to combat the nationwide shortage. Sec. Buttigieg said the understaffing was a significant concern as summer air travel is expected to pick up.
