As a fellow #seashanty enthusiast, I love the work that The Longest Johns (@thelongestjohns) do. On first listed of their 'Cures what Ails ya' album, I didn't realize that this song was about fighting the stifling old stewards of 'folk', that do their best to isolate and control the tradition.
