[WCT5-USA] Quarter Finals - APEX DOGE vs APK Blue

Quarter Final 2 - Apex DOGE v APK Blue!!!

SPOILER ALERT:
This match was obviously a very big upset as APK were one of the most popular teams at last year’s WCT USA. Additionally, one of the most popular athletes was (understandably) Mark Bowles. Unfortunately, he picked up a head injury the day before during practise and wasn’t certain whether he was going to be able to compete at all. Just wanted to provide a bit of context for what he and the rest of the team were dealing with going into this match. It’s impossible to say how much this effected the final outcome (or if that was the reason Mark only competed in one chase) but, either way, I’m pretty certain they’ll be back next year stronger than ever!

On a separate (but similar) note, Ashlee Johnson was also meant to be competing for APK this year but there were a lot of transport problems in the days leading into this event and her flight was cancelled so she wasn't able to attend. Again, hope we get to see her back next year!!
