Molten Bronze vs. Wood! Which Species Can Take the Heat?

Ever wondered what kind of wood can handle a molten metal pour? No? Well too bad! I tried it anyway. I got to thinking those epoxy resin furniture projects could be made a bit more "fiery" with the help of some molten metal, and i'm just trying out that theory today.
