Of Kings and Men | Are Two-Handed Weapons OP? Probably. Some Top 3 Fun With The Worst 2HW | Gameplay

We're back with more Of Kings and Men gameplay, and in this let's play we managed to unlock the next tier of armor, the one handed sword, and the shield. However I wanted to try something new so I pick up the two-handed mace and go to town with it, just to see how the two-handers are. A lot of people were complaining they are pretty over powered and broken, and after using one for a bit I pretty much agree.

Even while not being around for some of the match due to having lunch, we still manage to get into the top 3 with the lowest tier of two-handed weapon. I can only imagine what would happen if I grinded out one of the higher tier ones like the two-handed sword. The biggest issue it appears is with the swing speed of the two-handers, they seem to swing at the same speed as the one-handed weapons, and their range is extremely good, and obviously the damage is also extremely good. This creates an instance where you can just wade into the middle of a bunch of opponents and swing fairly wildly, getting a lot of kills and experience.

Normally this wouldn't really be an issue, but the main way to advance in the game is about getting experience, so a more defensive shield user is at a bit of a disadvantage. All in all it was fun messing around with the two-handed weapons, but we'll probably stick with the shields and one handed sword to continue moving down that tree.
