Everything you want to know about the Ineos Grenadier 4x4 Off-Road. The Ineos Grenadier is an off-road utility vehicle designed and produced by Ineos Automotive Ltd. based in England and built in France. It went into production in July 2022. It's not an old Defender, although it looks like one.

Ineos is the brand, the model is Grenadier, is the name of a pub where the idea was conceived. It is NOT a modern electric car touting its infotainment tech; it's a boxy, gas-powered off-roader that harkens back to the classic Land Rover Defender.

British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe reportedly tried to buy the old Defender tooling and designs from Land Rover to keep it in production. Land Rover declined to sell it. Ineos is building a vehicle that’s inspired by the Defender and aims to be better, modernized version of it Land Rover history.
