Cameron Green played an outstanding unbeaten innings of 100 runs off 47 balls, while captain Rohit Sharma contributed with 56 runs off 37 deliveries. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mayank Dagar took one wicket each for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Earlier, SRH posted a total of 200/5 in their 20 overs, thanks to brilliant batting performances from Mayank Agarwal and Vivrant Sharma. Mayank scored 83 runs off 46 balls, and Vivrant smashed 69 runs off 47 balls. Akash Madhwal was impressive with the ball for Mumbai Indians, taking four wickets.

Mumbai Indians' victory, along with the weather conditions in Bengaluru, led to disappointment among RCB fans. However, the rain stopped, and the match began with RCB's opener Virat Kohli showcasing his brilliance by scoring an unbeaten century.
