"It's hard work to do a Initiative, but we've done 17 of them.... It's a way to change the conversation."

Tim Eyman, former gubernatorial candidate of WA state, and successful initiative organizer since his thirties, makes a push for I2078 at Langley, WA event with other speakers Semi Bird, Erik Rhodes, and others whom have promoted initiatives as well as run for local office.

He comes both as a organizer/instructor for how the attendees can spread the initiative process, but also as a past author of many initiative processes including the widely received lower cost car tabs initiative from the last few years. He talks about the strictly singular but short messaging that must be done in less theoretical messaging and more practical but electorally, civically engaging manners to promote the initiative not as a vote for gun rights but as a platform for which people can have a vote on the process of the right itself.
