"I would be BLAMELESS!" Biden plans to take ZERO RESPONSIBILITY if U.S. defaults on its debt
Fox News' Peter Doocy questioned Joe Biden on who would be to blame for a potential default on the U.S. debt if no agreement on the debt ceiling is reached. This exchange took place in Japan on the tail end of Joe Biden's international trip on Sunday.
On several occasions, Joe Biden and those who speak for him at the White House have made it clear that the White House would not negotiate on the debt ceiling. House Republicans have been united behind Speaker Kevin McCarthy, and have passed legislation to raise the debt ceiling—but the Senate has been unable to act.
Now, Joe Biden is deflecting blame for any of the fallout that could occur from a deal not being reached. Do you think that President Joe Biden should shoulder any of the blame if, in fact, the U.S. does default on its debt?
