China Is Surrounded by Enemies

Through a combination of bullying and bribing, China used to be able to get its neighbors to play nice with it. While it's economy was expanding rapidly and trade with other countries flourished, China's neighbors moved away from the US, China's mortal enemy, or avoided taking up controversial issues like Taiwan, to keep the peace in the region. But now that's all changed. It turns out China's rise hasn't been one of a gentle giant that refrains from interfering in other countries' internal issues, but a fire-breathing cyclops wielding a bazooka and grenades that doesn't have any boundaries. Thanks to China's own actions, it's bullying is coming back to bite it, and it's now surrounded by enemies.
