Congressman Tom Reed (R NY-23) held a town hall in Ithaca, NY, on August 17, and was confronted with a question from an Amnesty International supporter as to whether he would adopt children whose parents were deported. Congressman Reed then set forth his position that he is against amnesty for illegal immigrants, but is sensitive to the issue of children brought to the U.S.
