In this episode.......
The Lieutenant Governor - Ed Sherman - takes over the governor's office for a few days when Governor Gatling is severely off balance with an ear infection.
It becomes apparent how Sherman is a complete sleazeball, and is disliked - rightly so - by all Governor Gatling's staff.

He tries to backstab by getting a highway bill passed into law, knowing that Governor Gatling opposes the bill.
Cue much rallying round against him by all in the house, except Gatling who is having trouble with his infection meds.............
