On May 17, 2023, the city of Perth local council aloud the reading of a Drag Queen story by a Drag Queen to be read to children age 2 to 8 at the Perth library.
In response to this action, a large number of parents and protesters turn-up to confront this action and were met with opposition from other Drag Queen supporters, local consul rangers and Police.
Many of the Dreg Queen supporters swore and abused the protesters saying there's nothing Rong with children attending the story time reading, as protesters were replying levee the kids alone there to young for this and to stop sexualizing our kids at such a young age.
