The House of Representatives is back this week (May 22 through May 28) to vote on 9 pieces of legislation to "help better the lives of the American People."

From a bill to Reclassify Fentanyl under the Control Substance Act to a bill to give VA Access to veterans of the Armed forces of Korea. Here are the 9 pieces of legislation being voted on this week in the US House of Representatives.

The bills being voted on this week are the HALT Fentanyl Act, NOTAM Improvement Act of 2023, Preventing the Financing of Illegal Synthetic Drugs Act, China Financial Threat Mitigation Act of 2023, Korean American VALOR Act, VET–TEC Authorization Act of 2023, and the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2023.

The two resolutions being voted on this week are the House Joint Resolution to disapprove President Biden's Student Loan Forgiveness Plan and a Senate Joint Resolution to Disapprove the Environmental Protection Agencies Rule to lower emissions on heavy-duty engines and new vehicle standards.

The bills passed last week were the Federal Law Enforcement Service Weapon Purchase Act, POLICE ACT, and the NDO Fairness Act
