Today we will be visiting the final resting place of Jackie Gleason and Don Shula. They are laid to rest at the beautiful Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Doral Florida. Established in 1959 this cemetery sprawls 125 acres of land and is one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the state of Florida. El Mago a las Fritas is where we'll be eating today, a Miami staple. The Owner told us That Fritas at one time in Cuba were very popular, however they ended up being a passing food craze, but he loved the fine shredded and fried potatoes so much as a sandwich topper, he brought it here to Miami and it was a huge success. His small sandwich shop modestly tucked into a shopping plaza has been a great success since 1984. You'll likely see the owner if you go there.
