ABOUT VIDEO:
Kayaks are typically made of HDPE, HMWPE, LDPE, or glassed composites (fiberglass/carbon fiber). Many of these hull materials have built in UV inhibiting polymers to protect the kayaks, but they simply aren't very effective. Look on craigslist...tons of faded used kayaks. I worked in plastics and rotomolding for marine products. I can tell you that this 303 product is one of the cheapest things you can do to keep plastics looking vibrant & nice. Not only that but a faded kayak is also a sign of the plastic material degrading and losing flexibility. Thus, it is common to see cracks in faded kayaks. Some reviews have said it helps restore & maintain faded car dashes too. Lots of uses for this product. Keep your kayak looking newer and lasting longer. There is no oily residue...simply spray on and wipe it down with a rag. DONE!

KayakDIY is not sponsored or contracted in any way by 303 products. We simply love the product and thought you might too!
