Isaiah 22: 1 -25 You have forgotten your first love

The children of Israel have forgotten their first love and been blind by vanities. The things they work towards are things that are not everlasting. The enemy is at the gate and the ones you looked to are know where to be found, with a cross reference to the one eye Shepard. They lived off the fat and prosperity of Gods people but have no sight for those things that come from God. They just seek the highest seat in the synagogue but that highest seat is already occupied by Jesus Christ.
