In this lesson we see that Jesus was generally (not entirely or irrevocably) rejected by his own people. To reject Him as Messiah was ultimately to reject the Law of Moses and the rest of God's word. The rejection in no way justifies any discrimination, hatred, or any other manifestation of antisemitism today. Many Gentiles would accept the truth about Jesus Christ. Christians today can also fall into the trap of rejecting the truth and its teachers.
