No Man's Sky 1.03 | Ship is Repaired! Flying Around Exploring Outposts | Part 2 | PS4 Gameplay

In this episode of No Man's Sky 1.03, we've repaired our various items and accouterments and we begin scanning some various flora and fauna, and we also get to take off in order to explore the planet a bit easier.

When Sean said planet sized, he wasn't kidding. You probably could just remain on one planet forever if you wanted to, just exploring every single thing on it. But, that's definitely not what I want to do, I'm an explorer, not really a completionist, and there are still several planets in our system alone that need to be taken a look for.

Just flying around the atmosphere of the planet has me realizing how much time it would take to do some of the things people had asked about, such as destroying an entire animal population or digging to the center of the planet (although obviously the digging distance is limited). These worlds are huge, and we still haven't even blasted off into space yet.

That said, I'm getting the hang of the controls, and they're starting to feel much more natural, so that's good. Scanning, mining, jetpacking, and jumping is becoming second nature, so even someone without much console experience can definitely get into the game and have some fun.

I hope you folks are enjoying our exploration of our starter planet, because I think it's just about time for us to get up on out of here and see what else our system has to offer!
