Italy's media has been making fun of Trudeau since he told her to improve her human rights record. A video in the Italian news shows police attacking the Freedom Convoy protestors in Ottawa last year, and the police horses trampling the Mohawk lady and other protestor. The headline in the Italian media reads: “Trudeau, who repressed protests in Canada, attacks Italy on LGBT rights” They use quotation marks around “democratic” in reference to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his government and go onto say, "the democratic government that froze accounts and repressed protests.”
