OUR THOUGHTS & OPINIONS:
We love how portable this kayak is. It paddled fine for my wife and her gear (150lbs or less) but for me and gear (210lbs) paddle performance suffered. The kayak is rated at 250lbs but I would say people and gear less than 175 is more doable and enjoyable. It paddled comparably to other common recreational kayaks in its length category. So if ultimate portability is a need consider the Scorpion model of Uncharted Watercraft. It can fit in nearly any vehicle, under a bed for storage, strapped to motorcycle, in a closet, is great for condo owners, RV and camping enthusiasts, and more!
