OUR THOUGHTS & OPINIONS:
The Outbound GT Portable Fishing Kayak rolls like luggage you would take on a trip. It has a reported 500lb weight capacity although we only put 350lbs max on it during our test. There are lots of useful features that make it great for kayak fishing. We love the ability to drop feet in water and turn/propel the craft while fishing. We felt the construction was robust and the way the wheels are integrated in the design is nice. It takes no special equipment to transport since it can fit inside many vehicles. It is quite stable and paddled very easily, but on choppy waters you do feel each wave twice due to the two hull design. For bigger ocean wave environment it might not be liked do to that, but we didn't mind it because everything else was enjoyable. Hatches were bit difficult to open with wet hands, but manageable.
We didn't use a universal clip in seat but others could. We found we liked to occasionally dangle feet down and that led to a very comfortable/ergonomic seating position over many hours. So if ultimate portability is a need consider the Outbound GT Angler Kayak model of Uncharted Watercraft. It can fit inside most vehicles without the need for expensive roof racks, and stores easily in homes with limited space like condos, dorm rooms, RV campers, & more!
