Sometimes you have to replant...

It has not been a great week for the garden transplants, that is, for the peppers and tomatoes. We had a lot of rain and then a cold night (38 degrees F!) Some of the pepper stems rotted. And then rabbits must have eaten off some others! Anyway, Stan had to buy 10-15 more plants. Good thing we have lots of Amish plant nurseries close by. He got decent sized plants for only 75 cents each!

Today was cold and windy but the next two weeks look like summery weather. I hope I have better news next Saturday! (Oh, and I have only two more days to teach until my second and permanent retirement!!)
