Heart of George COtten" was a Peabody Award
winner in this series "dramatizing the great
democratic traditions of the Negro people inter-
woven in the pageant of history and a part of

of two black doctors, Ulysses Grant Dailey and
Daniel Hale Williams, first to perform an opera-
