Japan raised the limit on daily arrivals of its foreign visitors up to 20,000 as the country gradually lifts its COVID restrictions.

At the moment only business travels are allowed, however, Japan is expected to open for tourism from June 10.

Japan's health authorities divided the countries into three groups based on the risk of infection. 98 countries and regions, including the United States and South Korea, are in 'low-risk' group and exempt from COVID testing and proving the vaccination.
