Is the Return of the Second Coming Imminent?

The question is; Are there any prophesies that have to be fulfilled before the second coming?

It is blatantly obvious the so called pre tribulation rapture is not mentioned in Mark 13 Luke 21 or Matthew 24 in Christ’s dissertation to the disciples on the chronology of His Second Coming. Why is that? Because it’s not there. It will not happen in the way these false teachers claim it will. In fact Christ teaches the chronology is the exact opposite of the pre trib rapture people.

For example, the rapture people claim 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is the rapture when in reality it is speaking of His second coming. To add insult to injury they also claim the same verse has chronology attached to it because this is their go to verse for the pre tribulation rapture. Their assumptions are wrong on two points right from the start. I call this a bait and switch and textual high jacking. It violates Revelation 22 in every sense of the word.

What should be obvious to everybody is Paul’s outline leading up to the second coming or “gathering back” as he calls it in 2 Thessalonians 2. The entire chapter is dedicated to the chronology of the second coming and he starts it off by saying; I beseech you brethren about our gathering together; it will not happen until after the great apostasy and the wicked man of sin is revealed. There is no mention of a pre gathering together or rapture at all.

The second epistle of Thessalonians was hastily written in order to clear up the question regarding the gathering together or second coming as many were confused at that time. Some believed Christ had already come back and they missed it and others were expecting Christ to come back at any moment. Paul clears this up and told them what to expect before the second coming. This is the first mention of the “any moment” doctrine or the “imminent return” doctrine.

In essence Paul made it clear that the imminent return of Christ was contingent on the two criteria which are; the great apostasy would take place and the wicked man of sin would be revealed before Christ’s return. This will be the great dividing line between now and the second coming of Christ. If you haven’t seen the son of perdition stand in the holy place and claim to be god the second coming of Christ will not be imminent until then. This was the whole point of the entire second chapter of 2 Thessalonians 2. This was for the people of Paul’s time and it is for you now in the current time.

You have to ask yourself; why are the pre trib rapture teachers ignoring the teachings of Paul? Why are they claiming the return of Christ is imminent when it’s not?

The son of perdition is the cause of the great tribulation in Mathew 24:29 so your chronology of the second coming is made very clear by Paul and Jesus, why would you need to go elsewhere for the chronology of the second coming?

Here is another example of the scriptural gymnastics the pre trib rapture people use. They claim 1 Thessalonians 4:17 is the rapture but 2 Thessalonians 2 is post rapture. In reality 2 Thessalonians 2 was written to give chronology to 1 Thessalonians 4:17 which is the second coming. This is the type of contortion and twisting they do in order to make this false doctrine fit their narrative. They have to twist half of God’s word to make this so blatant a lie fit.

Another lie put forward by these false teachers is that some of these prophesies regarding the second coming are written only to the Jews. They claim the Jesus is the Messiah to all but His prophesies are not. This is a basic misunderstanding of the “grafted seed” and the gentiles are now included in all of Jesus prophesies. He died on the cross for all of us and His second coming for all who believe on Jesus.

I would categorize the second coming with two sets of beliefs. The first would be those who believe there will be only one second coming. The second would be those who believe there will be two second comings or as they would call it; an appearing and a coming.

1st-The chronology of the one and only second coming is clearly laid forth by Jesus and Paul and is specifically laid out in 2 Thessalonians 2, Matthew 24, Luke 21 and Mark 13. Revelation 11 speaks of the last 3-1/2 days of this age before the one and only return of Christ.

2nd-The chronology of the pre trib rapture is not directly referred to anywhere in scripture and cannot be documented. The choice is clear. The pre trib rapture is a fairy tale. I would use the term “fairy tail” because the rapture doctrine is a replay of Revelation 12:4. And his TAIL drew a third part of Gods children into the arms of the antichrist the false messiah and they worshiped him as if he were god therefore taking the mark of the beast.

2 Thessalonians 2 is the only chapter in Gods word that directly refers to the term “gathering back” # 3952 parousia and # 3700 appear, look, see optanomai in the Greek. The word rapture is not there or the concept of two second comings is not there either. If the pre tribulation rapture was a Bible concept this would be the place you would hope to find it. But it is nowhere to be found and it is conspicuously absent.
There is no need to consult history or the false accounts of the origins of the rapture doctrine they are all a distraction from the truth. Pre trib, post trib, mid trib, are all unneeded nomenclature. They all post labels on the second coming that are misleading. Christ died for all who believe and He is coming back for all who believe. His second coming will also affect all who are alive and remain on the earth at the time of His second coming because all flesh will perish at this time.
If your trumps, seals, vials, woes, appearing, comings, don’t align themselves with 2 Thessalonians 2 Revelation 11 and Mark 13, Luke 21 and Mathew 24, you got it wrong my friends. If you are adding or taking away from any of the words spoken on this issue by Christ, Paul or John you are in violation of;

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: (The whole Book)
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Within these verses above and also below is your chronology. The wicked be revealed and immediately after that the second coming and only in that order.

The second coming is after the working of satan which causes the FALLING AWAY.
