Planting NATIVE FLAME AZALEAS Around Gazebo — Ep. 174

Continuing on the trajectory of planting native trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants in the landscape, we're working in some of our native Rhododendron calendulaceum shrubs in, which are otherwise known as flame azaleas.

Special thanks to our partner, @EspomaOrganic which has provided the soil acidifier. Rhodies / Azaleas prefer an acidic soil of around 4.5-6.0, so if your soil is not acidic enough, I would recommend using an acidifier to help establish the plants.
