In this video I film just a mile from my house where Army Corp Of Engineers meet in Cape Coral, FL to discuss Lake Okeechobee discharges which have polluted waterways. The nutrient pollution is caused by fertilizers that run into Lake O. Sugar crop farms, commercial, & some residential properties are a big culprit of this pollution which has caused high phosphorus and nitrogen. The nutrition pollution has caused even normal red tide blooms (oct-feb) to go one for 10 months! The governor and state/federal departments need to get together and fix this mess. It has gone on for many years, but it is exponentially getting worse! Wildlife can't read signs saying "no swimming" and you can't tell us "don't breathe". We demand change and we need others to help share this story so the right people hear it.
