Home to some of the world's most unique wildlife, the Indonesian archipelago is comprised of some 17,500 islands. Indonesia takes up less than 1.5% of the world's land but is in fact home to more than 15% of the wildlife found on Earth. It sits between the continents of Asia, and Australia, which gives the region an incredibly diverse range of animals.
