Custom Kydex Lab: Blocking the mold and pressing the holster

After finishing the construction of our book press, we then had to build the mold we intended to use for our holster. I opted to make a Level-2 styled retention holster for a Springfield XD-9 Mod2.0, Sub-Compact. For retention I planned on using a retention screw near the trigger guard, as well as a Safariland locking strap over the rear of the slide. For attachment, I opted to use a Safariland QLS mounting fork. Both of the hardware items required custom blocking to be made to mount them correctly to the holster.
