In this video, I briefly discuss Grace O'Malley's life and career in and around the time of the famous meeting between her, Ireland's Pirate Queen and Queen Elizabeth I.
It was in the late 16th Century when the Queen of England gained much ground in Ireland. But she met someone she respected enough to bring to her abode in London and have a discussion.
Grace O'Malley did not bow but petitioned her for several things.
