Craft Fur Pike Baitfish Fly

his was the fly that I used to win a small Pike tournament in Sweden. The tournament was a bunch of people that all work in the same industry which made it all the more fun to win because now I can brag about it to my work colleagues until next year. I know that there were no pros or big names fishing this event, but there were a lot of fish caught. We weekend warriors put the smack down on the pike. Wining this little tournament still isn't the big news. The big news is that i had easily over 20 strikes fishing this fly in shallow water anywhere from 2 to 6' and you can have the same kind of action. Like most strikes from a pike, they were violent, and this fly was durable enough to take hit after hit and its clearly not done. The Craft Fur Pike Fly lives lives to fish again.
