Haunted Gaming R: Team Fortress 2 "Play dead"

I didn't want to put this following schizo ramble in the video itself, but I swear to god way back in like 2015-16 I've actually seen a tf2 community 2fort server on the server browser with the name "playdead905". Never joined it because young me was too spooked because I had heard the story beforehand, I assume the server was made or just named that as a tribute to the original story? I remember the pasta was semi popular back in the day so probably lol

As for the explanation? Was probably just a modded server plugin using assets from the massive file the player had to download, with modern Vscript *server modding tools basically* you could make much spookier stuff infact, although it would've taken a lot of effort back in 2011 and just to scare a few people? It probably could've existed on a technical level at least tho, wondering about the legitimacy is half the fun with these old stories
