If you're interested in a fresh, new and exciting genealogy training experience, Genealogy Roots is the event for you. Here's a quick look at the "un-conference" Genealogy Gems hosted at the Senior Expo in Sandy, Utah. Here's what's different about Genealogy Roots:

All sessions wove together the story of one family, and the application of integrated genealogy research strategies to solve questions just like the ones you have about your family history.

The all color spiral bound workbook provided a place to follow along, take notes and see the real-life application to your own research.

Our student "Gems" stayed in one place, all together, and the presenters did all the changing of locations. No one had to run to their next class or get turned away from a full class as happens at other popular conferences.

Being in one area for two days allowed for bonding time with your fellow students, and one on one interactions with presenters.

Sessions were broken up with plenty of break time, prize giveaways every our, and even light-weight energizing motion activity set to fun and invigorating music!

The training was held right in the expo hall so that all students could freely enjoy the many vendors whenever they liked.
