Stop scrolling! We have some breaking news! Newly released bodycam footage reveals a harrowing incident in Iowa, where a police officer clung to the hood of a car as the driver attempted to flee. Officer Patrick McCarty informed a passenger in the car, Dennis Guider Jr., of a warrant for his arrest from Illinois. When the driver got out of the car, Guider took the wheel and started the vehicle. McCarty drew his weapon and jumped onto the hood as the car kept moving. The officer then fell off the hood and broke his back when the car hit a ditch. Guider was arrested and pleaded guilty to causing serious injury.
