Serbia open to discussing leftist education as possible cause of shooting

In 2023, a horrific school shooting in Serbia took place, prompting the need to examine the underlying causes that led to this tragic event. Unlike the United States, which has seen a multitude of school shootings, Serbia had previously been spared from such violence. Experts have suggested that one of the main causes of the shooting was the increasing number of students suffering from mental health issues, combined with the lack of resources available to address these problems. Ultimately, this lack of support for mental health concerns led to a student feeling isolated, hopeless, and resorting to violence as a means of coping.
