This is a really fantastic, versatile umbrella. I am the owner of a Joovy Caboose stroller (please look at photo below). The stroller did come with its own canopy, but it gave a bare minimum of shade for both my children.
So I got this umbrella, and boy, was it worth it. It gave a much much more coverage for my children. The shape of this umbrella works so well for strollers, as opposed to the round circular umbrella we had purchased last year.
With the round umbrella, we had to buy TWO to cover each child since the diameter was so small. But this umbrella works beautifully. Dont hesitate to buy it.
I got tired of having to replace my large 9' umbrella every year that gets damaged from the weather. I like this because I can clip it to my chair when I use it and then throw it in the outdoor storage bench when I'm not using it.
I get the morning and afternoon sun in summer and these work great. I have attached them to arms of chair and just unfold them as I need them and then unfold. They are not obtrusive and those below don't really see them or me when in use or not in use.
Great umbrella! I bought this with the intention of using it with my babys little push car which has no kind of shade. In the south Florida heat/sun, she can still ride around in the afternoon and not get sunburn at all thanks to this umbrella.
Perfect that its narrow so its not as bulky as the traditional round umbrellas and also flexible/adjustable at multiple angles so you can basically put it in any way you want.
Also the clamping handle is great for odd surfaces like the thick plastic handle of the push car. Only downside to it is that it does flap around under heavy wind so im not sure it would work well for the beach.
Glad I ordered this despite the negative reviews!My problem was the hot Florida sun baking me while enjoying my comfy balcony swing.This handy detachable umbrella filled the gap the swings umbrella couldn’t.I have the XL version.Beyond happy with functionality and multiple angle options.Must have for Florida sun relief...
So far, this umbrella has been a lifesaver. It attached to the camp chair easily, provided plenty of shade, and stood up to a light breeze. It was noticeably cooler under the umbrella.
I bought this for my kayak and it works and matches perfect! I got so many compliments from others out on the water. This covered the cockpit nicely and kept the sun off me. Once the wind picked up I had to close it, but I am very happy with this purchase.
