Chile presents and approves its first home-grown electric bus; first factory in Latin America

Reborn Electric Motors aims to become the first company in South America dedicated entirely to the production of 100% electric buses.

The Reborn Electric Motors facility includes a 3,000-square-meter area divided into offices, meeting rooms, lounge areas, and warehouses. Here, the company expects to develop about 200 new electric buses annually.

The company has signed an agreement with Codelco to provide 104 such vehicles, which will be used to transport workers at the El Teniente mine in Rancagua.
