Into something that we can universally like

I'll mate with the dragon and create a new hybrid
A whole new species that's not so blinded.
Not running away but no longer slaying
We can speak and they will know what we are saying
They can learn from us and we can learn from them
We can guard them when they're praying and we can be their guardsmen.
Imagine a world where we and dragons are one
Every battle with a dragon has already been won
But not with pre-planning or heads that need slamming
Just a mutual respect of time and space that would be spanning.
Forever and ever, now into the future
Like if Superman worked with Lex Luthor
The problems they'd solve, how humanity would evolve
Prejudices we would solve, every issue we'd resolve.
Just be like Khaleesi, wouldn't it be easy
Put our hand onto their noses and say so sorry that we
Have fought so long, but now we can be strong
Admit that we were wrong, we can sing from the same song.
Every time we had a problem, a dragon could solve it
We could help one out if it was stuck in a tar pit
Everyone of us pull the chains, attach them to the trains
Pull them out from the tar pit and no more hurricanes.
A dragon would fly in and spin the opposite direction
A relationship built on mutual protection
No more dragons to fear, but even then there'd be a new threat
But we'd fight it together like the allies and the soviets.
