Twitter accuses Microsoft of abusing data access

Alex Spiro, an attorney for Elon Musk, sent a letter to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on Thursday accusing the tech company of abusing Twitter’s data access privileges. According to the letter, Microsoft refused to pay to acquire Twitter’s API and content. A Microsoft spokesperson told CNBC that the company will “respond appropriately” and looks forward to continuing its long-term partnership with Twitter.
