INTRODUCTION:
THINGS THAT STOOD OUT TO ME:
I think the first thing that stands out to me on this beautiful chapter, is that this isn't based on a real woman. From where I stand, it's a description of a godly, bold, brave, independent woman. It's a description of what a true woman of God is like, and it's something I pray that model more and more every day.
Another thing I see in this, is how verses 10-31, which is the main focus of this study, becomes what is known as Darlene says, an “Eshet Ḥayil, a beautiful Hebrew term that translates to "woman of valor" or "woman of virtue." I found this rather interesting, because I have been discovering as of late, that the Proverbs 31 woman is far from a helpless, submissive, defenseless Stepford wife, but as I stated before she's this strong, independent godly woman, who strives to be true to the Lord.
I think the verses that really stick out the most to me, our verses 16 through 24, in particular, verses 19 and 20. This is because it describes the intelligent godly businesswoman that exists in this description. She's a woman who not only makes sure that her family has food and clothing, but yes takes care of others. She's this strong intelligent woman, who sees a field and buys it, plus she makes a living off the clothing and other items that she makes.

The P31 Challenge
As you read through Proverbs Chapter 31, stop to consider any area of your life where you may be struggling with the flesh. Write down one thing you would like to see changed.

Commit to making small changes this week that will help you improve in this area of your life. Don't worry about taking on too much at once (unless you have obvious sin you need to turn away from), as we'll be going through a similar exercise at the end of each chapter. Write down any ideas or strategies below.

As I said guys, this isn't an instant thing but it's gonna be something that will take time as we study this wonderful chapter. But I pray that we all commit to letting God work on us, and helping us be the best woman that HE wants us to be.
