Who is trying to take Imran Khan out of the picture?

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, has had a very tough year, which culminated with his arrest last week.

Is this a case of an often-seen downfall of a politician that didn’t deliver on promised, or was there someone’s toe that he shouldn’t have tread on?
