Come along on this saltwater kayak fishing adventure in the Florida Gulf. My friends Reddog830 and ReelFinsFlorida go out fishing some grass flats in the Gulf. I also discuss a channel project that hits close to home here in SWFL. Through my other job working at local hospital I met some homeless individuals and heard their heartbreaking stories of daily survival. So recently I decided that we could help out this vulnerable population. Together we are going to help feed SWFL. We are going to occasionally use channel sponsorship dollars to feed the homeless. We are starting with this $300 sponsorship that was provided by the water shoe company above. If the project goes well maybe we can expand operations. I chose Omeals because they are delicious warm meals on the go and have great shelf life. Some local cities ban this kind of charitable activity (food sharing) so hopefully we won't get interference from law enforcement. Regardless, we are doing it...because it is the right thing to do.
