Clashes erupted in the Bolivian capital La Paz between police and coca leaf producers on Tuesday, as demonstrators took to the streets to protest the control of the coveted commercialization of the plant.

Footage shows police officers equipped with riot gear firing tear gas grenades along a street at the protesters, who in turn tried to throw the grenades back.
