Wedding planning is a big task, and a perfect opportunity to prepare for marriage. In this story, Jay describes his wedding planning process and what he learned with Amanda through it all. Jay's father-in-law had a brilliant way in making the funding of the wedding drama free, and it gave Jay and Amanda an opportunity work together within their established wedding budget. In more ways than one, budgeting for a wedding mirrors budgeting in married life. Communicating values and virtues that need represented in the wedding and the wedding budget serves excellent practice for the same healthy habit in the future.
