My home and everything I own is flooding from storm surge. Wife is still in dangerous storm surge flooding area. Saylor and I are stuck in Midwest (Iowa). Please pray for all of us.

We have several friends who will need our help as well. We may even have friends living with us or us with them when we find alternative housing. Our jobs and all income earning potential are uncertain. We have bills soon to be stacking up. As the husband I have always worked hard and hustled to support my family, but now I’m vulnerable and don’t have a clear vision for how to support my family. Wife and I work as nurses. However, hospitals evacuated the area. Wife and I started a small kayak rental business but that too is gone for now. Even my paddlesports KayakDIY YouTube income is dropping due to offseason viewership. I’ve hustled all my life and worked hard. I couldn’t create a gofundme out of foolish pride. I’m grateful for a friend who did it for me. We do need help. We may be even helping our friends and family. My 3yr old may be staying in Iowa for short period of time while my wife and I try to find some stable environment. My wife is currently in this hell with her mom and step dad. My daughter and I are in Iowa and I’m trying to figure out how to get back to her. I just want to hug her and reassure her that things will be ok.
