National Archives officials: Every administration since Reagan has mishandled classified materials

The House Intelligence Committee voted on Wednesday to release the transcript of testimony from a closed-door interview in March with top officials from the National Archives and Records Administration. In the transcripts, officials testified that every administration since former President Ronald Reagan had mishandled classified documents. Chief Operating Officer William Bosanko noted that no previous administration had involved the Justice Department inspector general before the classified materials incidents with President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump, and former Vice President Mike Pence.
